MR. TAFADZWANASHE MUPARIWA

Tafadzwanashe Mupariwa is a career prosecutor who joined the Attorney- General’s Office in 2007. He later moved to the National Prosecuting Authority at its inception in 2015. He rose through the ranks from a Junior Public Prosecutor to his promotion as a Chief Law Officer in 2018. In 2019, he was elevated to Acting Deputy Secretary responsible for Finance and Administration. In 2022, he was appointed to be Acting Secretary/ Account Officer of the NPA. In the year 2023, he was appointed to the NPA Board as its Secretary. He has over 16 years working experience.

He is an organised, efficient and hardworking person whose leadership qualities are exceptional. An independent thinker and good communicator, he has overseen the revolution of the NPA in the mobilization of resources and change Management.

Mr Mupariwa is a holder of a Masters of Law Degree (LLM) from the University of Zimbabwe, an LLB from UNISA and a Post Graduate Diploma in Corporate Governance and Strategic Leadership from the Midlands State University.
